Terms and Conditions
- All Instructors licenced to operate using the ’Panther Drive’ livery as part of Assured School of Motoring are fully qualified and are registered with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). They will display their ‘Certificate of Registration’ (green badge) at all times whilst accepting payment for driving instruction.
- Assured School of Motoring will do all that is practicably possible to ensure Your Instructor is CRB checked and abides by the DSA professional code of conduct.
- The contract for driving tuition is solely between You and Your Instructor. You and Your Instructor are responsible for agreeing all matters related to the timing, location, and duration of individual lessons.
- You must hold a current U.K. driving licence (full or provisional) which must be checked by your Instructor on the first lesson. Your Instructor will also check your eyesight to ensure that you can read a number plate from a distance of no less than 20.5metres (67feet) using glasses or contact lenses if necessary.
- You must notify Your Instructor of any matters which affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition.
- Prices agreed, between You and Your Instructor, at the beginning of your driving course will not change for the duration of your course unless the course duration is longer than 12 calendar months .
- Payments should be made to your Instructor at the beginning of every lesson.
- Assured School of Motoring accept no liability for test cancellation or postponement by the DSA. Any tests that are cancelled by Your instructor, after the DSA cancellation deadline will be re-booked at your Instructors expense .
- You will be charged for any lessons cancelled by yourself with less than 24hrs notice. This cancellation charge may be waived at Your Instructors discretion.
- In the event of a complaint your Instructor should be the first line of contact. In the event that your complaint is not satisfactorily resolved then Assured School of Motoring advise you to follow the DSA complaints procedure as laid out in their ‘code of practice for ADI’s’.
- Assured School of Motoring reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time with 28 days notice.
