Instructor Profile

Jason Hall, ADI

Specialising in giving driving lessons in Ashford and surrounding districts, I am a highly experienced driving instructor with 10 years as a fully qualified ADI. Patience and professionalism is key to my success as a driving instructor and governs my teaching and attitude toward pupils at all times.

I am a grade 6 (all categories) DSA approved driving instructor, member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, hold the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test Gold Standard Certificate, I also a fully qualified Approved Fleet and SAFED for Vans trainer, Pass Plus registered instructor, A2OM accredited BTec in driving science approved instructor,  and a fully qualified Security Chauffeur.

Not only do I instruct the practical aspects of driving to a pass rate that I am very proud of, but I also take pride in my one to one theory training, which although not taken up by every pupil, has helped enormously with those that have.

My aim as an instructor is for my pupils to reach a standard as near to perfect as is possible. This requires great attention to detail all the way through the course while still retaining a friendly, fun environment in the car, which I think is the vital ingredient.

For the successful candidates, I offer what I reckon to be a very comprehensive one day PASS PLUS course. It is built around an excursion to London with quite a few surprises thrown in.

I became a driving instructor because I love the flexibility and the fact that no two days are ever the same. I have always been a free spirit and instructing learner drivers gives me that luxury.

When not instructing, I am a keen musician. As an ex pro Bassist, I like to keep my hand in. I was signed to London Records with the band Lisp releasing the Album “Cycles” in 2000, and played and recorded recently with London outfit Alpenglow. I’m a keen swimmer, an enthusiastic Astronomer (I am the Committee Secretary of the Ashford Astronomical Society, www.ashfordastro.org.uk) and a staunch fan of West Ham United, being a born and bred Eastender!
